I work with local artisans who create beautiful handmade wooden wall decor. These products are unique and have a strong appeal for home decor lovers.

How should I proceed with seeding at this stage? HOT

I'm 18 years old with a tech startup and am trying to seek money pre-seeding from family to help speed up the development and ensure my product is ready. Friends my age don't have enough/ aren't willing to invest in via SAFE, but when I'm asking my family for investment, some of them want to invest say... $1,000 for 5% equity upfront. Which I find is an absolute joke/insulting offer. I have built a few demos all by myself and the actual product is in heavy development. Which I've spent extensive time on. I am already a legal entity as well.

What would be the best course of action to seek investment in this stage? startup accelerators? Reach out to AC's/VC's? Crowdfunding? I'm not fond of crowdfunding but that might give me a better chance when my circle's don't understand investment risk. I can continue without investment and skip this "pre-seeding" but I believe it would help so much with just a bit of investment....

I agree that giving up 5% for $1,000 undervalues your work significantly. It's great that you already have demos and a legal entity — thats a good start.
